The successful ingredient is to have fun, and fundraise at work with colleagues, or at home with family and friends. Strategic Partnerships with employers are critical to our core income, and individuals can also make huge contributions by becoming one of our Community Champions, with individual fundraising activities.

Why not make it official & register your event & pledge with us too? We will give you as much support as we can, share your activity and success, give you access to our Fundraising Zone with readymade promotional posters and digital resources, some that you can personalise.

For larger events, we can even provide branded promotional items on loan, and in some cases staff it with our volunteers.

JOIN OUR EASY, READY-MADE AUTUMN / WINTER FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN:

• With some easy, free readymade fundraising resources. We have two fun, easy, ready-made fundraisers;  a South Shields themed Scratch card worth £100 to us and The Alternative Christmas Card Tree Poster worth £350 to us, you can email or call us, to arrange delivery of them they all are designed for workplace or community group use.
• Autumn/Winter Fundraiser

OTHER OFFICE FUNDRAISING IDEAS;

• A bake sale or a coffee morning – give advance notice and have others bring a cake donation, which you can sell, or make them yourselves and sell them.

• Host a quiz or raffle – themed or not, there are books and online set quizzes that can be adapted to suit your audience.
• Take on a new Sporting Challenge with us. Are your passions running, walking, or swimming. Could you take part alone, or as part of an exercise or community group?
• Cheese and wine night – host an evening with you buying wine, and friends buying tickets, get a local independent producer involved? expertise can be found online, or on the back of the bottle. Fake it until you make it? Theme on a region, or local produce?
• Organise a themed food “Come dine with me dinner?” Spanish, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Thai – the real choice is yours! Bon Appetit!
• Organise a fancy dress party to a theme? 80s, film, music, celebrity, country – which one would get your friends attending?
• Piggyback an already organised community event? Friends of the park, school PTA, community fayre, music gig, pub quiz night? Could you ask them to fundraise for us?
• Professional memberships Do you hold a professional membership or are a member of a business club? Do you attend monthly meetings, dinners, or events e.g. chartered institute of accountants? Do you know of any that could nominate us as their chosen charity?
• Easyfundraising App: Donate while you spend. Just download the app, give permissions, and when you use websites online to buy, the app automatically recognises you have an account, and each company offers an automatic percentage back on your spending. Its so easy and effective.
• Set up your birthday or celebration fundraiser on Facebook. It’s a standard offer in your Birthday list / own profile. You set the target and charity, and you can share with friends who can contribute.
• Celebrate a wedding, or Anniversary; for many people, these celebrations have been done before, and they realised they just do not need more materialistic items, instead they ask for life changing donations in lieu of gifts.
• Unique skills? Set a timed challenge? Endurance test? World record attempts or personal feats; Whether your unique challenge is a singing competition, a sponsored silence, or a craft-a-thon, from weightlifting, to H>I>T fitness events, our supporters use their passions and skills to fundraise.
• Fundraising with a kid’s activity: From an Egg hunt to a Dance off, Halloween Party, Litter Pick, Pyjama Party, Sponsored Raffle, Sponsored Gaming Marathon, Wacky Races: Ducks, Snails, Dogs. Use whatever makes you happy and fundraise from it.
• Organise a sweepstake. For Autumn, Christmas, Grand National etc.
