Whilst they are FREE, fun, and informal, they can also help hugely to improve your mental health and increase your confidence. They are also an opportunity to make new friendships, learn new skills and can vastly support you and your family to succeed in life, learning new activities, all in a safe familiar community space.
Want to get involved?
Want to get involved? At Hospitality & Hope we understand our communities need more than just food parcels, at times of crisis, they need more than to survive, they need to thrive. After bills and food are paid for, many families have no money left for nice family activities together. Which is why we’re dedicated to creating community spaces next to our community shops, where people can feel valued, empowered, feel a sense of belonging by connecting with their community and learn new skills and activities that can be life changing for them and their families.
I live more than 1.5 mile from my closest shop, can I still be a wellbeing participant?
At Hospitality & Hope, we strive to support the community of South Tyneside as much as possible. However, at the present time, residents and households situated more than 1.5 mile from their closest shop are unable to become a wellbeing participant or shop member due to funding constraints. We apologise and ask that if you’re ever in any doubt as to whether or not you qualify, contact us to discuss.
Are you a practitioner that could facilitate an interesting class? Or a business owner who could also sponsor the cost of an event or activity? Get in touch.
