Fundraising Guidelines

We’re delighted you are looking to fundraise for Hospitality and Hope in 2026.

We’re happy to help all of our fundraisers grow their audience and generate more donations, but ask you to adhere to our following Fundraising guidelines:

  • USE OF LOGOS: we can provide you with logos for any bespoke posters, leaflets or digital assets you want to create. We ask that logos are used in a way that adheres to our brand standards, wording represents our charitable aims, and that our crisis and non-crisis services are all represented correctly in an content or fundraising assets you create. The easiest way to do this, is to use the language and wording on our website at www.hospitalityandhope.org.uk
  • FUNDRAISING MATERIALS: Email or digital manager for logos. There are also some templates for some fundraising posters in the fundraising zone. These can be amended to suit your own activity, by emailing our digital manager at wayne@hospitalityanndhope.org.uk with a brief of what you’re looking for. Please also send him your own bespoke posters, for sign off (or suggests edits) any assets you create yourself.
  • FUNDRAISING PLATFORMS: We use crowdfunder and can set you a platform up under our official Hospitality and Hope brand,  which can then be personalised with your own story by you. This creates familiarity and reassures the public you are a genuine fundraiser, and allows us to track your fundraising, and easily share to our audience, to help you raise more.
  • MATCHFUNDING: Matchfunding is offered by companies to their employees, as part of their corporate social responsibility, they offer to match up to £750 per employee, who otakes part in a fundraising activity. If we know in advance, we can arrange for a matchfunder to help you fundraise.  but generally need to know at least 2 months in advance of the activity.
  • FUNDRAISING MECHANICS: we have fun ready made football type scratch cards, that we can give you. Selling 50 squares at £3 each, which delivers £75 for a lucky winner, and £75 for your fundraising.
  • GRANTS/FUNDING: Please DO NOT apply for any grants or funding, in our name. Funding applications are very organisation specific, usually require confidential financial and charitable impact information that we cannot release to you. We have specialist staff in the charity who can do this. Doing this yourself, can jeopardise a current or future grant opportunity for the charity.
  • SHARING YOUR ACTIVITIES: we are happy to support your activities, by sharing on our own socials, website, and pr, for those who have followed our brand standards and fundraising guidelines.
